Make Up Store Microshadow: Desert

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about my matte neutral Make Up Store eyeshadows and I totally forgot about this one! I’ve been using this one everyday lately and it’s one of my “must haves” from MUS. This is a great contour product for pale/light skin. I use this under my cheekbones and to contour my nose. I know it looks too light, but you’ll get a natural result and you don’t have to worry if it’ll be to harsh. If I’m wearing self-tan, I use a slight darker shadow, like Make Up Store “Smog”

Make Up Store Desert is also a really good blending shadow. I use this in the crease all the time to soften up the look and blend out harsh lines. Thumbs up for desert! I really recommend this one!

Good Match: Khaki & Turquoise

As maybe some of you now, green is one of my favorite colors. I love matching any green with teal/turquoise eyeshadows. A great eyeshadow combo for me would be, a dark green, khaki green, teal and a little bit of gold. Yum!

Khaki green and turquoise are  two colors you probably would think would be a great match, but  try blending these two colors and you will see how great they look together!

Viva La Diva Nudie Two palette

The Nudie Two palette is the sequel to the Nudie palette from last Christmas. It has 12 different shadows, a mix between matte and pearly eyeshadows. I like this palette and I’ve been using it everyday for the last week. Some of the colors are okay pigmented (could be better) and others not so much. I recommend using a sticky primer to your lid to make the colors pop. They really look great with a sticky primer underneath. I love the colors Limit and Pleasure and It’s just one color I absolutely don’t like, and it’s the color Stunning. I thinks it’s hard to work with unfortunately.

I use the matte brown colors in the crease for depth and to blend out harsh lines, and the pearly colors on the lid. On the swatches below I wore just a foundation underneath, but I like to use the Too Faced Glitter glue on my lids, it really makes the colors more intense. Oh, don’t use the glitter glue in the crease! Then you would have a hard time blending.
