Viva La Diva Nudie Two palette

The Nudie Two palette is the sequel to the Nudie palette from last Christmas. It has 12 different shadows, a mix between matte and pearly eyeshadows. I like this palette and I’ve been using it everyday for the last week. Some of the colors are okay pigmented (could be better) and others not so much. I recommend using a sticky primer to your lid to make the colors pop. They really look great with a sticky primer underneath. I love the colors Limit and Pleasure and It’s just one color I absolutely don’t like, and it’s the color Stunning. I thinks it’s hard to work with unfortunately.

I use the matte brown colors in the crease for depth and to blend out harsh lines, and the pearly colors on the lid. On the swatches below I wore just a foundation underneath, but I like to use the Too Faced Glitter glue on my lids, it really makes the colors more intense. Oh, don’t use the glitter glue in the crease! Then you would have a hard time blending.

Youngblood Twilight Lunar dust

This is a gorgeous highlight for everyday wear and for nights out as well. It’s shimmery but just the right touch, it’s not too much.Yyou can use it on your cheekbone as well as nose, forehead and above your lips (cupids bow) to make them fuller. I just love it!

GloMinerals Luxe foundation

I’ve been using the Luxe foundtion from GloMinerals for a while now and I really like it. Actually, I love it!.  The Diamond Powder infused formula gives a soft effect to the skin. It erase imperfections which makes this a great foundation for any age. My skin looks young and glowy and my face feels smooth and moisturized.
Luxe gives a medium coverage and hide any sign of imperfections on my face. I don’t think it would hide really bad acne but  the GloMinerals Camouflage concealer takes care of that problem.  It’s recommended for all skin types, but personally I think it works best for normal to dry and dehydrated skin.

This is probably my second favorite liquid foundation after Estee Lauder Double wear foundation. I wish Luxe would last as long as Double wear, but it don’t. But Luxe is easier towork with  ( I use my hands to apply Double wear.)  It’s necessary  to wear a setting powder on top of Luxe to make the foundation stay in place, unless your skin is really dehydrated.  That’s probably the only negative think I have to say about it. The result is really nice, as you can see on the picture below. I use the color “Naturelle” .

I like to apply the foundation with a flat top brush like the one on the picture. The brush is from Nilens Jord but Bdellium Tools also have a nice flat top brush which I use all the time. I just buff the foundation into the skin with a circular motion and finish it of by dabbing it so I get rid of any fine strokes/lines.

Anastasia Contour Palette

The palette contains 3 highlighters, 2 matte and 1 shimmery, and 3 contour shades. The cool brown shade in the middle works well with my skintone, those two others are for warmer skintones. I do like the shimmery highlight as well, but the matte highlighter with the cool undertone doesn’t show up on my pale skin. The matte highlight with the yellow undertone works for warmer skintones.

So, is this a Must Have palette? No, I don’t believe it is. It’s probably great for makeup artists, because they work with people with different skintones, but if your planning on buying a contour kit for yourself, you don’t need all these shades.

Blush palette

I bought a new Z Palette the other day for my Make Up Store blushes. I chose the Extra Large palette to fit all my MUS blushes. I love the fact that it has a clear lid so I can see all the colors. If you want to thake a look at the MUS blush swatches, click HERE.
